Can I apply for a part time job in Unilever Turkey?

Currently, Unilever Turkey recruits only for full time positions and summer interns.

What kind of people is Unilever looking for?

We designed a recruitment process to assess your future potential in our environment. As a result, we seek the most capable individuals to become our future business leaders. We recruit against a set of management capabilities, i.e. competencies, which are used to assess and develop our managers throughout the Unilever world.

Can I choose the area of business I want to go into?

Yes, Unilever encourages people in their early career steps, to choose the specific area(s) they would prefer to work in and asks for it to be stated in the application forms, by ranking the desired functions.

I have applied to Unilever before. Can I re-apply?

Depends on the progress of the first application.

• You have applied and your form screening result is rejected:
  You are welcome to fill in a new application form in case you are now ready to provide us with different and more relevant evidence from your life.
• You were invited to a first interview (or selection board) and the result is “deferred”: 
  You will clearly be briefed that although you will not be offered the position this time, Unilever will continue to consider your application for any relevant vacancies in the near future.
• You were invited to a first interview and then rejected: 
  You will be able to apply again, after a certain period (1-2 yrs), when you believe you have experienced a significant progress in terms of “competencies”.
• You have attended a Selection Board and were rejected: 
  You will not be able to apply until you reach a mid-career position. (5+ years).     

Do you use any aptitude tests during recruitment?

No. We are recruiting through competency based interviews. The application form stands for the first interview.

When can I apply for internship?

The internship applications start in February each year and end in April. You may apply to internship by filling out the special internship form which becomes active on the site during this period.

I have not yet completed my military service. Can I still apply to Unilever?

Yes you may apply, given that you would be able to work with Unilever for a minimum of two years before leaving for military service.

Do you have a preference for graduates of a particular faculty/department?

On condition of having excellent written and spoken English and the successful completion of a 4 year undergraduate program, our Graduate Application Form / MT Programme is open to graduates of all faculties/departments/universities.
